Install the LaCie d2 SSD Upgrade on the LaCie d2 Thunderbolt 2 (sold separately) to boost speeds up to five times without compromising capacity. With speeds of up to 1150MB/s, the LaCie d2 and d2 SSD Upgrade deliver faster speeds than the internal SSD in your latest PC or Mac® - all in the size of a case of a disc.

Simply remove the back panel of the LaCie d2 Thunderbolt 2 to install the Lacie d2 SDD Upgrade and you immediately have additional SSD storage with a capacity of 128 GB. Two separate volumes appear on your computer: one for the SSD and one for the hard drive. Use the SSD for tasks that require high bandwidth such as fast file transfer, audio mixing, video editing or booting the operating system and use the HDD for file archiving. No other solution offers this level of performance and capability in such a compact device.
